Why Framing? A creative approach to displaying your art

We are excited to be NW Indiana’s newest source for quality & creative custom picture framing located in the vibrant Uptown Arts District of Michigan City, Indiana. If you haven’t already, please stop in our new showroom located at 607 Franklin St or call us at 219-877-4420. Our hours are Tuesday – Friday 10am- 6pm and Saturday 10am – 4pm.
So who are we and what do we do?
SFC Gallery was born from our parent company, Sharpeye Framing Co, also located in Michigan City. After several local frame shops closed in our area in 2016, Sharpeye, normally a wholesaler of custom frames, decided the forecast was right to expand into the retail industry and open a convenient showroom located in the heart of the Arts District. From there, SFC Gallery was created to fill the gap in the custom framing industry and provide quality custom framing and giclée printing services to our community.
With Sharpeye’s long history of working with artists, we decided to extend our services to allow part of or showroom t o serve as a gallery for First Fridays artists, a popular arts walk event in downtown Michigan City.
